Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 3 September 2026.

1. About these Terms

These Terms and Conditions (the ‘Terms’) govern your access to and use of btfscores.com and any page, feed, widget or service published under it (the ‘Website’). By visiting the Website, creating an account, or embedding one of our widgets, you agree to these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Website.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of them.

2. Who we are

The Website is operated by BTFScores (‘we’, ‘us’, the ‘Controller’). For any question about these Terms or about your personal data, contact us at info@btfscores.com.

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (‘GDPR’), we are the data controller for the personal data described below.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. Where your country of residence sets a lower age for consent to information society services under Article 8 GDPR, that lower age applies, but never below 13. If you are below the applicable age, you may browse public score pages but must not register.

Parts of the Website reference odds and betting operators. Where such content is shown, it is intended only for persons of legal gambling age in their jurisdiction.

4. The service, and the limits of it

The Website publishes live football and other sports scores, fixtures, results and related statistics. This data is supplied to us by third-party feed providers and is passed on as received.

Scores, times, statistics and odds are provided for information only and may be delayed, incomplete or incorrect. We do not guarantee that any figure shown is accurate or current, and we are not the official source for any competition. You must not rely on the Website for any decision that carries financial consequence, including the placing of any bet. Always verify against the official source.

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the Website at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration details and keep them up to date. Tell us promptly at info@btfscores.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Closing your account also triggers the erasure described in section 7.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • 1. Use the Website for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable law;
  • 2. Scrape, harvest, mirror or systematically extract data from the Website, or place automated load on it, without our written permission;
  • 3. Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, server or network connected to the Website;
  • 4. Interfere with the operation of the Website, or circumvent any technical restriction or rate limit;
  • 5. Resell, sublicense or commercially redistribute data obtained from the Website except under a separate written agreement with us;
  • 6. Impersonate any person, or submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, abusive or infringing.

7. Your personal data

This section summarises how we handle personal data. The Privacy Policy gives the full detail.

What we collect. If you register, we collect the name, surname, username, e-mail address, country, telephone number (optional) and time zone you provide, together with your password in hashed form. We also record the IP address and the referring page from which you registered, and the date and time of your logins.

Why we process it, and on what lawful basis.

  • 1. To provide your account — creating and maintaining your registration, authenticating you, restoring a forgotten password, and applying your display preferences such as time zone. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • 2. To keep the service secure — recording login attempts and IP addresses to detect and limit abuse. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests in protecting the Website and its users (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • 3. To send you our newsletter — only where you ticked the subscription box. Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you may withdraw at any time.
  • 4. Analytics — only where you have agreed to it in our cookie banner. Lawful basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Who we share it with. We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with processors acting on our instructions, and only as far as each needs:

  • 1. TurboSMTP — delivery of account e-mails such as activation and password reset;
  • 2. MailerLite — delivery of the newsletter, where you have subscribed;
  • 3. Google Analytics — audience measurement, only with your consent;
  • 4. Our hosting provider, which stores the databases on our behalf.

We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so.

International transfers. Some of the processors above may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, the transfer is made under an adequacy decision or under Standard Contractual Clauses adopted by the European Commission. You may ask us for details of the safeguards that apply.

How long we keep it. Account data is kept for as long as your account is open. If you close it or ask for erasure, we delete or irreversibly anonymise your account data without undue delay and in any event within 30 days, except where we must keep a limited record to meet a legal obligation or to defend a legal claim. Security logs of login attempts are kept for 12 months. Newsletter records are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights. Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • 1. Access — obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • 2. Rectification — have inaccurate data corrected and incomplete data completed;
  • 3. Erasure — have your data deleted where one of the grounds in Article 17 applies;
  • 4. Restriction — have processing limited in the circumstances set out in Article 18;
  • 5. Portability — receive the data you gave us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and have it sent to another controller where technically feasible;
  • 6. Object — object at any time to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests, and object absolutely to direct marketing;
  • 7. Withdraw consent — at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal;
  • 8. Complain — lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority of the country where you live or work.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@btfscores.com. We answer within one month, and will tell you if we need to extend that period as permitted by Article 12(3) GDPR. Exercising your rights is free of charge.

Automated decision-making. We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We set a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in and to protect forms against cross-site request forgery. This cookie requires no consent and cannot be switched off without breaking the Website.

Analytics cookies are not strictly necessary, and the script that sets them is not loaded at all unless you have agreed to it. Nothing is loaded while the banner is still waiting for your answer, and declining is a single click, no harder than accepting.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing takes effect immediately and blocking non-essential cookies does not affect access to scores.

9. Newsletter and marketing

We send the newsletter only to people who asked for it. Every message carries an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect without further action from you. You can also ask us to remove you at info@btfscores.com.

10. Third-party content, links and advertising

The Website carries advertising and links to third-party sites, including betting operators. Those sites are not under our control. We are not responsible for their content, their terms, or how they handle your data, and a link is not an endorsement. Read their terms and privacy notices before using them.

If you choose to gamble, do so responsibly and only where it is lawful for you to do so. Gambling carries financial risk and can be addictive. If it is affecting you, seek support from a recognised problem-gambling service in your country.

11. Intellectual property

The Website, its layout, graphics, text and code are protected by intellectual property rights and remain ours or our licensors’. You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. Any other copying, republication or commercial use requires our written permission.

Underlying sports data is supplied by third-party providers and remains subject to their rights.

12. Widgets and embedding

We publish live-score widgets intended for embedding on other websites. If you embed one, you must not alter or obscure its content or attribution, present it as your own, or use it in a way that breaches section 6. We may withdraw or change a widget, or block a particular embedding site, at any time.

13. Disclaimers and liability

The Website is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’, without warranty of any kind as far as the law permits, including any warranty of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity, arising from your use of or inability to use the Website — including any loss connected with a bet placed or not placed in reliance on data shown here.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms affects your mandatory rights as a consumer.

14. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, or where we are required to do so by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to respond.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Where a change materially affects your rights, we will give reasonable notice, by notice on the Website or by e-mail to registered users. Continuing to use the Website after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing law

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms deprives you of the protection of the mandatory law of the country where you live, nor of your right to bring proceedings before the courts there. We will try to resolve any complaint with you directly first — write to info@btfscores.com.

17. Contact

Questions about these Terms, or about your personal data, go to info@btfscores.com, or use our contact form.
